LUXURY NORTHERN CIRCUIT SAFARI
Day 1 Arrival Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO). Meet upon your arrival in JRO; and transfer to Hotel in Arusha. Estimated driving distance: 45 minutes. Accommodation: Mount Meru Hotel
Day 2 Arusha / Lake Manyara National Park. Today, after breakfast, we drive to Lake Manyara National Park with picnic lunch, in the Great Rift Valley. After a picnic lunch in the Park, home to tree-climbing lion, colorful birds, elephant and hippo, we will have afternoon game drive in the park. Estimated driving distance: 2.5 hrs. Accommodation: Marera Valley View lodge.
Day 3 Lake Manyara National Park/Mto Wa mbu Area. Here you can take a leisurely walking safari to visit the many different tribes and cultures in the area. Discover their farming, irrigation, visit houses, sample local cuisine, visit schools supported by portion of the income earned from each trip, visit income generation projects and generally gain a deeper understanding of the lifestyle of the people who live and work here. Accommodation: Marera Valley View lodge.
Day 4 Mto Wa Mbu / Serengeti National Park. After breakfast, we leave Mto Wa Mbu for Central Serengeti via Olduvai Gorge, this history-changing archaeological site made famous by the Leakey family. Game drive en-route to Serengeti. Estimated driving distance: 4hrs. Accommodation: Serena Lodge.
Day 5 Serengeti. Game drives in the Serengeti, exploring the rolling plains of Serengeti National Park in search of the large predators and the gentle herbivores on which they feed. Accommodation: Serena Lodge.
Day 6 Serengeti / Ngorongoro. Today we leave Serengeti for Ngorongoro Crater, game drive in the Crater exploring the short-grass plains of the crater floor. This extinct volcano embraces 100sq miles alive with lion, leopard, rhino, elephant, buffalo, and many more games. Estimated driving distance: 3hrs. Accommodation: Tloma Mountain Lodge.
Day 7 Ngorongoro / Kilimanjaro / Departure. After breakfast, we drive to Arusha; day room is provided, then later transfer to Kilimanjaro airport for your return flight. Estimated driving distance: 3hrs to Arusha; followed by 45 minutes drive to JRO. Accommodation: Mount Meru Hotel.
